Chiefs TE Tony Gonzalez left Kansas City’s game against the Saints on two occasions due to an ankle injury. He came back the first time, but left a second time in the third quarter.
No word on what his availability will be for Sunday’s game against Kansas City, though the prevailing opinion is he’ll play as he’s known as one of the most durable tight ends in the league.
Gonzalez would be a handful without Whitner in the lineup, though Bryan Scott has done an admirable job thus far this season.
