Florida TE Ingram fares well
Posted by Chris Brown on March 19, 2009 – 1:54 pmMissing the entire 2008 season due to an ACL injury has made for an uphill battle for Florida TE Cornelius Ingram, but on the heels of a decent combine workout, Ingram did very well at the Gators pro day.
He ran a 4.69 and 4.72 in the 40 and jumped 9’6″ in the broad jump. NFL.com’s Gil Brandt said he also looked sharp in the position drills.
Ingram is an intriguing pass catching prospect and has fallen through the cracks a bit as some only view him as a late 3rd to early 4th round prospect. I think he’s got some game and after helping himself could climb to the top half of the third.
How far he can takeĀ his potentialĀ at the NFL level is the big question. But talking to him at the combine he’s got a good head on his shoulders and understands route concepts in an offense.
