On the heels of Cato June’s visit with the Houston Texans Monday, there’s been no news of a contract offer or hard core negotiations.
I think a lot of teams, including the Bills are doing their homework on June, so in the event they don’t land the linebacker talent they might be targeting in the draft they can present June with a contract offer as a fall back option.
The Bills could potentially take a linebacker in the first two rounds and the Texans are a virtual lock to take a linebacker at pick 15, especially if Cushing and Matthews are sitting there.
So I think both teams are considering June their plan ‘B’ for addressing the position.
