Tinoisamoa’s choice based on several factors
With Pisa Tinoisamoa finally choosing the Bears to be his next employer Friday evening, you have to chalk it up to familiarity with the head coach. Lovie Smith, head coach of the Bears, was Tinoisamoa’s defensive coordinator in St. Louis. Smith had input when Tinoisamoa was drafted by the Rams. If he’s going to believe [...]

Two weeks of OTAs are down, with only one full week to go before the mandatory minicamp. The offseason is moving along quickly. On to your questions. 1. chris How concerned are you about our back up QB situation… Geo… Fort Myers..FL CB: I would still like to see more of Ryan Fitzpatrick in this [...]
Jauron pleased with Owens progress
Not that Dick Jauron expected any different, but veteran WR Terrell Owens has blended into Buffalo’s offense pretty seamlessly through two weeks of OTAs. With five touchdowns in the last two days of practice including Friday’s 70-yard TD catch from Trent Edwards, Jauron likes what he’s seeing. “Terrell has kind of provided us with a [...]
Seeing double
At Bills practice there was only one Fred Jackson on the field. But along the far sideline it looked like another Fred Jackson was watching as well. In a way that was the case. Fred’s twin brother Patrick was on hand watching the practice session. The other Jackson has played some minor league ball and [...]
Owens just showed sick catch up speed
Trent Edwards just uncorked a 50-yard bomb down the far sideline that I was sure would be too far for Terrell Owens, who was getting held up by Reggie Corner. But Owens saw the ball coming swam over the DB and closed on the ball catching it in stride for a 70-yard TD play. At [...]

Leodis McKelvin is in attendance. He was in the locker room a little longer than usual. Still not participating.

Lynch excited about offensive possibilities
Marshawn Lynch shared some of his thoughts Thursday about the increased tempo of the offense and the addition of Terrell Owens. Suffice to say Lynch is pumped up. When asked about what he thinks of Owens as a teammate, Lynch likes what he sees in T.O. as a teammate. “He’s a cool dude,” said Lynch. ”In [...]
Parrish frustrated, wants to do more on offense
With Josh Reed not in attendance at practice, Roscoe Parrish had more opportunities to make plays in the passing game Thursday. But Parrish is convinced that when the full receiving corps is on hand he’s viewed as a substitute on offense and nothing more. Parrish believes he’s a legitimate NFL receiver, but going into his [...]
McGee shows up
Terrence McGee is in attendance after all as he likely was spending a little extra time in the training room at the start of practice. The good news is McGee’s right shoulder is not in a sling of any kind. So in all likelihood it’s just a bruised shoulder instead of a dislocation or separation. [...]
McKelvin, Schouman sitting; McGee absent
Leodis McKelvin and Derek Schouman are not participating in practice here on Thursday. McKelvin has a right hand injury as he’s watching practice with an ace bandage wrapped around it. Terrence McGee is not in attendance after suffering a shoulder injury Wednesday. OT Jonathan Scott is also not participating after getting nicked up in practice [...]
Whitner ranked as NFL’s 9th best safety
The Sporting News continued their position by position ranking of NFL players as determined by former league scouts. Donte Whitner is the latest Bills player to make a list checking in at number 9 for safeties. This list is hard to argue with as they have Ed Reed and Troy Polamalu at the top. I [...]

Edwards benefits with Evans and Owens on hand
After wrapping up 30 minutes of extra passing game work with his top two receivers, Trent Edwards was feeling good. It was the kind of extra work he just didn’t get last year at this same time due to different circumstances. Buffalo’s quarterback believes the extra work they’re putting in now to nail things down [...]

No official word on McGee injury
Since NFL teams are not required to provide injury information on players during the offseason, there was no official word from the Bills on the nature of Terrence McGee’s injury in practice Wednesday. It did however, appear to be a right shoulder injury which he suffered when Terrell Owens landed on him at the tail [...]
McGee leaves practice
Terrence McGee left the practice field after getting tangled up with Terrell Owens while battling for a pass down the far sideline during team work. It appeared to be a shoulder injury as Owens fell on top of McGee at the end of the play. We’ll try to get an update on him after practice, [...]
