No reps for Trent
It appears Trent Edwards’ arm is getting a rest as he is not taking reps in any of the team work practice periods today.
Other non participants
Also not practicing today are Shawn Nelson, John McCargo, Marcus Smith, Dustin Fox, Steve Johnson and Ventrell Jenkins.
Owens not practicing
Terrell Owens is not practicing this afternoon along with a couple of other veteran players. Aaron Schobel is not practicing, Lee Evans is not practicing and Terrence McGee is not going either. Just a guess but I think this might be a veterans day off type deal.
On what happened with Sam
P.K. Sam was waived and not kept on injured reserve because his quad injury was a minor one. In all likelihood the team reached an injury settlement with Sam, which allows him to try to catch on with another NFL club when he’s healthy.
P.K. Sam to I-R
Wide receiver P.K. Sam who was placed on the waived/injured list Wednesday, cleared waivers. So he reverts back to the Bills roster and the club could place him on injured reserve. Since he only had a strained quad, it is possible that he could try to reach an injury settlement with the Bills and subsequently waive if [...]
Evans and Walker in weight room early
A two-hour padded night practice didn’t dissuade two Bills players from making their way down to the weight room early Friday morning. When I walked in at 6:30am Evans was in a full sweat pumping out step up knee raises by the dozens. It looked like he was doing a leg and back workout. Langston [...]
Figures on Orakpo deal
The deal signed by the Redskins Brian Orakpo is reportedly 5 years and $20 million with $12.1 guaranteed. So you know Aaron Maybin will be in line for a bit more than that. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported those figures via his twitter account.
Orakpo deal could speed up Maybin talks
With the Washington Redskins signing Brian Orakpo to a five-year deal Thursday, it could provide the Bills and the Aaron Maybin camp with just the parameters they need to hammer out a deal. Orakpo was taken just two picks after Maybin at 13th overall. There is still talk that San Fran’s top pick Michael Crabtree [...]

Players comment on throwbacks whites
The Bills brought a handful of players out in the new uniforms on Thursday night including Paul Posluszny and Chris Kelsay. And both were pretty pumped up about how the white throwbacks looked. “I think they’re sharp,” said Posluszny. ”I think they look nice. To me they remind me a lot of my Penn State home [...]
Evans prefers throwbacks
There’s a strong contingent of Bills fans that prefer the throwback jerseys to the current home and aways, and it appears they have some support in the locker room from number 83. When asked about the new white throwback Evans said he liked it a lot. “When we brought them out, I’m thinking, ‘These are better [...]

RB Hairston on I-R
RB Justise Hairston who suffered a season-ending leg injury cleared waivers after being put on the waived-injured list. As a result he reverts back to Buffalo’s roster and has been placed on injured reserve effectively ending his season.
Trent Edwards to be on P.T.I.
Bills quarterback Trent Edwards will be appearing on ESPN’s Pardon the Interruption (PTI) this afternoon at 5:30. Just letting everybody know so they can check him out before he heads to the locker room to get ready for night practice tonight.
Big stuff happening after practice tonight
In addition to practice tonight, there will be a 50th season celebration including an Empire Statesman band, All-Time Team Video, and of course the jersey unveiling and fireworks after practice. So if you’re coming tonight make sure you plan on staying late. You don’t want to miss the festivities this evening. With respect to the jersey [...]
T.O. with some bold words for opener vs. New England
With a flurry of questions from fans at his cereal launch press conference, Terrell Owens assured that the team would be ready… very ready for the opener at New England. “We’re all really working hard at training camp to put this thing together,” said Owens. “And we’re flying under the radar now, but everybody is [...]
Photos from T.O.’s cereal launch press conference
As I mentioned in my previous post, the Terrell Owens, cereal launch was crazy with fans screaming and T.O. playing up to the crowd. Here are a few photos I took while at the event. Here are the crazy fans and no, I have no idea what the guy in the Edwards jersey is standing [...]
T.O. cereal launch is off the chain
Terrell Owens just formally introduced his new cereal T.O.’S honey toasted oats at a local Tops near training camp and the place was packed. Over 11 thousand boxes have been sold already. People were screaming. It was nuts. When it came time for questions the fans drowned out the media shouting out their own questions. [...]
