LB Elimimian has familiarity with Bills scheme
Bills newly signed LB Solomon Elimimian has familiarity with the Buffalo’s defensive scheme. He was one of the tryout players that was with the team during rookie minicamp back in May. With both Ashlee Palmer and Pat Thomas still sidelined the Bills needed another LB.
Bills waive long snapper Neill
It only took three weeks of training camp for rookie long snapper Garrison Sanborn to impress Buffalo’s coaching staff as the club cut ties with veteran long snapper Ryan Neill Wednesday afternoon. Neill has spent the last 3 seasons snapping for Buffalo (2006 on practice squad, ’07-’08 on roster), but Sanborn who was signed in [...]

With training camp coming to a close it’s time to hand out our 4th annual training camp awards. Ellis improving aggressiveness
Sure he’s 10 pounds leaner and he’s added lean muscle and is stronger than he was as a rookie, but the biggest difference in Chris Ellis is the aggressiveness with which he is now playing. Head coach Dick Jauron was pushing him to be more physical in his game and he came through in the [...]

Florence out 2-5 weeks
Drayton Florence’s sprained knee wasn’t as bad as first feared, but he’s still going to be sidelined for an extended period of time. Head coach Dick Jauron provided the update after practice when asked about Bryan Scott and Florence. “Bryan is pretty good and he’s day-to-day,” said Jauron. “Drayton is not quite that good, but [...]
