Bowen lands with Skins
Recently released LB Alvin Bowen has landed with the Washington Redskins. Released by Buffalo’s practice squad earlier this week, Bowen, a former fifth-round pick was signed to Washington’s practice squad according to the National Football Post. The Redskins moved Darell Young off their practice squad to make room for Bowen.
Saints RB Mike Bell not looking good for Sunday
For the second straight day Saints RB Mike Bell did not participate in practice due to a knee injury. Injury update
Josh Reed and Geoff Hangartner were the new non-participants in practice Wednesday and there were four other players that were limited. Reed is dealing with a strained quad while Hangartner sat out with a stiff back. Limited in practice Wednesday were Terrence McGee, Leodis McKelvin, Shawn Nelson and Roscoe Parrish.
Edwards and the plays he’s made with his legs

Good news for the Bills tight end position for a change. Shawn Nelson is practicing here on Wednesday so his tweet on Sunday that his shoulder was fine appears to be the case.
