Butler, Schouman going for tests

Bills head coach Dick Jauron did not give a timetable on the knee injuries suffered by RT Brad Butler and TE Derek Schouman, but both were to undergo further testing and examination tonight to ascertain the severity of the injuries. Presumably both will undergo MRIs to see whether they suffered any structural damage to their [...]

Stovall to start for Bryant

WR Maurice Stovall will start in place of Antonio Bryant for the Bucs.

Bucs without #1 WR today

Listed as doubtful on Friday with an ailing knee Bucs #1 WR Antonio Bryant did not even make the trip with the team to Buffalo Saturday. So Tampa will be without their top wideout this afternoon. Expected to step in for Bryant is rookie WR Sammie Stroughter. Look for Tampa to lean more heavily on [...]

Fan can now lobby for HOF candidates

For the first time, the Pro Football Hall of Fame is asking fans to voice their choice for who they think should be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Class of 2010 with a dedicated fan forum. At the Fans Choice Forum you can argue for the candidacy of Bills Wall of Famer Steve Tasker [...]

If Owens finds the end zone today…

Expect something related to Michael Jackson. Owens was a huge Michael Jackson fan and tweeted about the entertainer’s passing when it happened earlier this year. I don’t know exactly what he has in mind, but it will be in tribute to the King of Pop.

McGee extension a great move

Seeing Buffalo lock up their number one cornerback for the long term is a critical move to the future success of the Bills secondary. We’ll have an exclusive one-on-one interview with Terrence up shortly in the media lounge where we had an opportunity to speak to him just minutes after he signed the deal this [...]

Bucs WR Bryant listed as doubtful

After being unable to practice for a second straight day Bucs #1 WR Antonio Bryant is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Bills. Expected to play in his place is rookie Sammie Stroughter an Oregon State product that the Bucs drafted in the 7th round with the 232nd pick. Questionable for the Bucs [...]

Poz frustrated beyond belief

I spoke to Poz briefly in the locker room following practice Friday. And I asked him where his frustration level is at on a scale of 1-10. His answer? “11.” “It’s just like what else is going to happen,” said an exasperated Posluszny. “It was a great atmosphere, Monday Night football and we had a [...]

McGee questionable for Sunday

Terrence McGee is questionable for Sunday’s game after missing Friday’s practice. McGee was suffering from back spasms this morning and could not participate. I just spoke to McGee, who is looking a little stiff, but is confident he’ll be fine for Sunday. They don’t call him ‘Game Day’ for nothing. In fact last season if [...]

WR Bryant not participating in Friday’s practice

It’s looking less and less likely that Bucs #1 WR Antonio Bryant will take the field on Sunday in Buffalo. According to the St. Petersburg Times, Bryant is not practicing today as it appears he may have tried to do too much too soon coming off knee surgery. Rookie Sammie Stroughter is expected to be [...]

Schobel practicing

After missing practice Thursday with a sore lower back Aaron Schobel is back practicing today. Chris Kelsay is also practicing.

McGee not in attendance

Terrence McGee was not in attendance at the portion of practice open to the media. We’ll have an update after Dick Jauron provides details following practice.

Friday player radio appearances

Fred Jackson is scheduled to appear on the Brad Evans Show on 670AM  The Score in Chicago this afternoon. He’s scheduled to appear at 12:30 PM.

Setback for Bucs WR Bryant or not?

The Bucs aren’t calling Antonio Bryant’s inability to practice Thursday a setback, but the Tampa media thinks otherwise. According to the Tampa Tribune they believe Bryant’s knee, which had surgery in August to repair a torn meniscus has indeed suffered a setback. Tampa head coach Raheem Morris is not ready to go that far. It could [...]

Bucs injury report Thursday

Here’s the update for the Bucs injury report for Thursday, and there was a new addition. Starting safety Jermaine Phillips was added to the injury report Thursday with a calf injury. He was limited in practice Thursday. After participating on a limited basis in practice Wednesday, #1 WR Antonio Bryant did not practice at all [...]

Van Pelt pleased with first go round

Bills offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt spoke for the first time since calling the Monday night opener in Foxborough on Thursday following practice and shared some of his thoughts on how things went. “I thought we had a good plan going in,” he said. “I thought we had a good idea of what we wanted [...]

Injury update

Head coach Dick Jauron provided an update on the Bills injuries. Aaron Schobel has a sore lower back and did not practice Thursday. Jauron indicated it was more of a precautionary move than anything else. Drayton Florence, Derek Fine and Chris Kelsay were all limited. Jauron is not ready to assess the chances of any [...]
