Kyle Williams to give it a go
Bills DT Kyle Williams is going to try his ailing shoulder today. Got to give him credit for strapping it up today. He knows how critical Buffalo’s run defense is to the game today. We’ll see if his shoulder holds up for the whole game.

Nelson downgraded for Sunday
Bills TE Shawn Nelson was downgraded Saturday from doubtful to out for Buffalo’s game against Carolina Sunday. Nelson was not expected to play after failing to practice all week due to illness. Four starters are out for Sunday’s game. Declared out for Sunday are Trent Edwards, Jonathan Scott, Bryan Scott and Donte Whitner. Why Owens didn’t practice
Bills WR Terrell Owens did not practice on Friday and head coach Dick Jauron provided an answer. Jauron said Owens non-participation was “not injury related,” but did not elaborate further. It’s presumed that Owens was afforded a rest day, which is sometimes provided to veteran players by Jauron.

Trent Edwards is not in attendance at practice. Its the third straight day that he has missed all but eliminating any chance for him to practice. We’ll get his official status from Dick Jauron after practice.
