Edwards visits 1 Bills Dr.
Trent Edwards was not at practice, but was at the Bills facility Thursday. “He was over here to visit with our doctors,” said head coach Dick Jauron. “He’s doing better. He’s feeling better, but he’s not practicing obviously.” Ryan Fitzpatrick took all the first team reps for the second straight day.
Owens on why numbers are down

Practice update
A couple of players were absent for the portion of practice viewable by the media. In addition to Trent Edwards, Shawn Nelson, Xavier Omon and Jonathan Scott were absent. Not participating are Donte Whitner, Chris Kelsay and Kyle Williams. Terrence McGee and Bryan Scott appear to be limited.
Edwards Thurs update
Trent Edwards is again absent at Bills practice here on Thursday. That lessens his chances considerably for Sunday. It’s been expected all along that Ryan Fitzpatrick would start this week based on comments by the players and coaches.

As we reported on the home page of Buffalobills.com James Hardy is practicing with his teammates for the first time today. Hardy is moving well running routes. He is still on the Reserve/PUP list and not yet on the active roster.
