No south of border trip for T.O.

Terrell Owens provided a taste of his sense of humor as the team broke for their long weekend on their bye week.

Owens was asked if his bye week plans included taking in a Lakers game (he’s a big NBA fan) or getting some sun on an island somewhere. Here was his response.

“You never know,” said Owens. “I’m definitely not going to Mexico. Not going to Cabo. I’m just going to relax. I may go through Dallas and then go on to L.A.. Just try to get some relaxation in.”

Owens was poking fun at former teammate Tony Romo’s getaway with former girlfriend Jessica Simpson to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico, during the bye the Cowboys had in January 2008 before their first playoff game against the Giants, which they subsequently lost.
