Sanchez knee injury not serious
Posted by Chris Brown on November 30, 2009 – 10:18 amJets QB Mark Sanchez left Sunday’s game against Carolina after suffering an apparent knee injury. But he returned a short time later and his left knee is fine by all accounts.
Sanchez twisted the knee on an 8-yard scramble in the second half, but returned on the Jets next possession after team doctors examined him.
“It just felt a little funny and I wanted to be smart about it, so I went over to the trainers and they checked it out,” Sanchez said after the game. “They said it looked pretty good and we’re all good.”
