The Bills defense had one of their better showings in the win over Kansas City. The only blemish was a 76-yard TD run by Jamaal Charles, but Buffalo’s head coach faulted himself for the result of that play.
“It was a blitz,” said Fewell. “They caught me in a blitz. I thought I had some tendencies on them and they caught me.”
Charles had a large hole to run through as he went untouched for the score to make it a 3-point game, but the Bills defense closed out the game in a 16-10 win.
