OT Saffold spoke with Bills
Posted by Chris Brown on February 25, 2010 – 2:05 pmIndiana offensive tackle Rodger Saffold is considered one of this year’s top 10 offensive tackles. He just spoke with the media here at the NFL Combine and confirmed that the Bills were one of several teams he has already spoken with here in Indianapolis.
“I talked to the Bills,” said Saffold. “Of course I talked with coach Johnson. When I got in there for the interview I saw coach Johnson and I tried to make sure I looked at everyone in the room, but it was hard not to focus on coach Johnson.”
Saffold is referring to Bills assistant offensive line coach Bobby Johnson, who was his offensive line coach at Indiana University before joining the Bills staff just last week.
“I had a really good talk with him and it made me feel a lot more comfortable out here, being the only Indiana offensive lineman invited,” said Saffold.
