Several members of the Buffalo Bills Alumni will be on hand next Monday (March 8th) at Ilio DiPaolo’s in Blasdell as they’re sponsoring a “Monday Night Party” fund raising drive for former Bills FB Wayne Patrick.
The 63- year old former Bills fullback has been battling heart and kidney diseases and has accumulated medical expenses that far exceed his health and medical coverage for such treatments of his diseases. All the proceeds from the evening will go to help defray Wayne’s mounting medical costs.
Tickets are $20 per person which includes great food and beverage and a fun filled evening to meet some of the great Buffalo Bills players of the past, who will take photos and sign autographs. The event begins at 6 pm. Tickets can be purchased at Ilio DiPaolo’s Restaurant or by calling Ted Hanes at 716-913-4585.
“We are very grateful to Dennis DiPaolo and Ted Hanes for organizing this special evening for Wayne” said Bills Alumni President Booker Edgerson.
Wayne Patrick, who was originally drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals, signed as a free agent with the Bills in 1968. The big fullback was the first blocking back for O J Simpson. Patrick played for five seasons with the Bills.
