How Brown believes offense translates
Posted by Chris Brown on May 12, 2010 – 10:05 amWhen a quarterback tries to get himself acclimated to a new offensive system, he sometimes tries to lean his previous offense to help with translation in the early going. Bills seventh-round pick Levi Brown is just trying to absorb the new system on its own, knowing it’s different schematically from what he did in college. But he has seen some similarities here and there.
“Obviously it’s different,” Brown told Buffalobills.com. ”We’re under center here a lot. We have put in some shotgun stuff. A lot of that is similar. A lot of the ways we read coverages, there’s a lot of stuff that translates really well from the things I’ve done the past three years at Troy to here.”
Still Brown admitted his head was spinning a bit through rookie minicamp. However, he believes with a week or two to study up he’ll be much better off in OTAs.
