Catching up with Troup

Lost in all the QB pecking order talk and the Friday morning scuffle was the fact that Torell Troup got to camp just hours before the deadline to report after signing his deal at midnight Wednesday into Thursday. Troup is still trying to catch up on some sleep.

“I got here around two o’clock in the morning (Thursday) and I had to be up at 6:30 the first day so I was short on sleep,” said Troup. “And we went all day. I’m still trying to recover now, but I’m getting there.”

Troup admitted he was getting anxious as the hours ticked away toward report time waiting for his contract to be completed, as he made it a priority to miss no part of camp.

“I definitely stressed that I wanted to be here on time and that I did not want to miss anything,” Troup said. ”So I was glad I got here on time.”
