Jets top CB Darrelle Revis missed New York’s Sunday night victory over the Dolphins with a hamstring injury suffered in Week 2 against New England. Now there’s speculation that he’ll also miss this Sunday’s game against the Bills in Buffalo.
ESPNNewYork’s Rich Cimini provided his hunch on Revis’ availability for Sunday’s game at Ralph Wilson Stadium in a twitter post.
The Jets host the Vikings the week after they play the Bills on a Monday night, who are still trying to hit their stride with the passing game, so it doesn’t appear as though the Jets would be sitting Revis another week for some high-flying aerial attack type team to make sure he’s completely recovered. It appears as though they want to eliminate the hamstring injury as an issue for the rest of the season and believe sitting him, if that proves to be the case this week, would help achieve that.
