Half a hundred?
Posted by on October 3, 2010 – 11:28 pmJets QB Mark Sanchez was understandably feeling good about his team’s offensive performance, which included three touchdown passes on his part in their 38-14 win over the Bills. But when asked if the Bills’ comments about Sanchez’s five INT game last year fired him up, Sanchez expressed some confidence that New York could’ve had more than the 38 they put on the board Sunday.
“I just told (Jairus) Byrd after the game, I said, ‘Heyman, you’re no longer my favorite target. I’m sorry,’” said Sanchez. “We laughed about it, but this is the way we wanted to play, and I still think we were pretty close to putting half a 100 on them if we are really sharp in the first half. We had the fumble, we left probably 11 points on the board.”
I really hope the Bills remember this comment come the season finale on Jan. 2.
