Fred Jackson was one of Marshawn Lynch’s closest friends on the roster. That’s why shortly after the news broke that Lynch had been traded to the Seahawks, Jackson had already spoken to Lynch by phone.
Jackson feels Lynch believes his career will be better off with his fresh start in Seattle.
“To be happy in this career that we’ve chosen you have to be somewhere that you feel like you want to be,” Jackson told Buffalobills.com. “I don’t think he hated it here, but he just wasn’t able to be himself a lot of times. He’ll have a chance to make plays somewhere else. I wish him the best. We’ll be in constant contact. I’ll talk to him every day. He likes to stay in contact with everyone that’s close with him, so I’m sure I’ll hear from him every now and then.”
