Report: Eagles call Bills
Posted by on October 5, 2010 – 7:58 amAccording to a Burlington County Times report out of Philadelphia, the Eagles called the Bills to inquire about the availability of a certain running back.
The report cites the Eagles sudden shortage of proven backs with starter LeSean McCoy potentially sidelined with a broken rib. The only other backs on the roster are Mike Bell, Eldra Buckley and former Bills practice squader Joique Bell.
The Bills have not wavered in their stance that they are not interested in trading Marshawn Lynch, who despite some limited work still got more carries than C.J. Spiller or Fred Jackson for the third straight week this past Sunday.
