Bills RB Fred Jackson has been told he’ll be carrying the lion’s share of the rushing load now that it’s him and C.J. Spiller as the top two backs on the roster.
“That’s what I was told,” said Jackson when asked if he’ll be the starter. “I’m excited about it.”
Jackson rushed for 1,062 yards last season as the starter averaging 4.5 yards per carry behind an injury-plagued offensive line in 2009.
