The Bills injury report had the surprise listings of Keith Ellison and Bryan Scott.
Both players missed practice Wednesday with what is being listed as knee injuries for both. Their availability will be better determined later in the week. If for some reason however, neither one of them are available for Sunday’s game against Jacksonville, Buffalo will be going deep on their depth chart to fill the other nickel linebacker role in their subpackage defense.
Scott is the primary nickel LB that’s paired with Paul Posluszny. If he can’t go Ellison would be next in line. Beyond him we’ll have to see who Buffalo would plug in. Hopefully Ellison and Scott just needed an extra day of recovery from last week’s game.
Marcus Stroud and Andra Davis were both listed as limited participants.
Arthur Moats (elbow), Terrence McGee (back) and Ashton Youboty (hamstring) also did not practice Wednesday.
