Having not played a game in Ralph Wilson Stadium for 35 days, the Bills players and head coach were grateful for the support they got in a tight game against Detroit.
“I want to say I’m amazed, but I’m not,” said Gailey. “That’s Buffalo fans. To me, I didn’t expect any different. They are loyal. They love the Bills. They’re with you and they made a difference in the game. You can say what you want, but it is a true statement. THey made a difference in the game.”
“Our fans are phenomenal,” said Kyle Williams. “When they’re here, they’re here and they give us what they’ve got. So I think it’s only fair that I give them what I’ve got. I think everybody here will tell you that.
“They’re second to none and they’ve always been like that. I’ve played out in that stadium in way worse weather than that and they’ve been there. They were big for us today and I’m happy that they got to see it.”
