Steelers a measuring stick

The Bills have a lot of respect for the Steelers and the caliber of team they are. That’s why they’re eager to play them knowing how they fare will say a lot about their progress in year one under Chan Gailey.

“You want to talk about doing it against the best, this is the best defense in the league,” said Ryan Fitzpatrick. ”In order to beat them we’re going to have to score points. It’s going to be a great challenge for us, it’s going to be a great challenge to kind of measure where we are right now as a team, as an offensive unit and you know we’re excited for the challenge and hopefully it goes well on Sunday.”

The Steelers are number one in the league against the run, first in the AFC in takeaways, second in sacks and third in points allowed.
