Vikings RB Adrian Peterson left Sunday’s game against the Redskins with an ankle injury in the first half and did not return. He’s scheduled for an MRI today (Monday), but reports indicate he’ll be available to play Sunday against the Bills.
That according to ProFootballTalk, which is reporting that Peterson should be well enough to play, despite the fact that Peterson described the pain he felt on Sunday as “unbearable.”
His replacement, rookie Toby Gerhart had his best day as a pro with 76 rushing yards and a touchdown in a Vikings win, the first for interim head coach Leslie Frazier.
