Bills game on TV Sunday
Posted by Chris Brown on December 23, 2010 – 1:54 pmThe Bills game will be available to all fans in Western New York Sunday thanks to a last minute ticket purchase by a local restauranteur.
Russ Salvatore of Russell’s Steaks, Chops and More and ardent Bills fan, purchased the remaining unsold tickets to Sunday’s game between the Bills and Patriots before the 1 pm league blackout deadline to ensure that the game would air on TV Christmas weekend in Western New York.
“I bought the remaining tickets so the Bills could be televised locally for our community, and so that some of the less fortunate could enjoy going to the game,” said Salvatore. “This is a Christmas present to the community, and I wish everyone in Buffalo a Happy Holidays! It feels good to do it, I love doing it and this comes from the heart.”
The remaining tickets will be distributed to various military and local youth charitable organizations in the Western New York community.
