Sanchez won’t play long
Posted by on December 31, 2010 – 2:27 pmJets starting QB Mark Sanchez was limited in practice on Friday, but is listed as probable for Sunday’s game and expected to start. How long he’ll be in the lineup however, is another matter.
Jets head coach Rex Ryan gave a strong indication Friday that Sanchez won’t play very much.
“We’ll see how it goes,” said Ryan. ”I just want to get him out there and keep him in that routine and the preparation and all that kind of stuff and get him out there and get the blood flowing. But I don’t believe it will be long.”
Mark Brunell is expected to take over after Sanchez leaves the game.
