The head coaching turnout for Jake Locker’s pro day at Washington is reportedly sparse.
That according to NFL Network analyst Michael Lombardi, who posted that just one was on hand to this point for Locker’s workout.
michaellombardi So far only 1 head coach—Seattle’s Pete Carroll here at Jake Lockers pro day. Im thinking Locker must have some private workouts scheduled
Going up to the University of Washington is a haul for a good many of the NFL clubs that are in the eastern half of the U.S., so it wouldn’t be surprising if most clubs were satisifed to dispatch their area scout for the workout, or perhaps the GM or college personnel directors are on hand instead. Especially considering the fact that most coaches are hosting prospects for pre-draft visits at their NFL facilities this time of year.
