Clemson DE Da’Quan Bowers, by most accounts did not have the pro day performance most were hoping to see last Friday. Even Bowers himself would only label the workout “decent.” It’s clear his surgically repaired knee has kept him from training at his typical work rate, so where does he go from here with only a few weeks until draft day?
According to NFL.com’s Steve Wyche, Bowers will undergo his own medical re-evaluation concerning his knee, which is less than four months removed from December surgery in Indianapolis on April 9th.
NFL.com believes that Bowers may have to oblige teams interested in holding a private workout with him between now and the draft as they perform their due diligence on the heels of his pro day.
