Defensive tackle prospect Jarvis Jenkins, who is profiled on the home page of Buffalobills.com today, was coached by Chan Gailey and his staff at the Senior Bowl this past January. Jenkins genuinely appreciated the instruction he got during the Senior Bowl practice week.
“It was real good, being coached by the Bills, they opened my eyes a lot,” he said. “I had to improve my pass-rush a lot, and they taught me a lot about not looking in the backfield, beating my man first, and actually had a good Senior Bowl, got better each day,
so that was a good experience.”
Jenkins had a strong week in Mobile and was one half of an immovable force inside defensively for the South Team teamed up with Baylor DT Phil Taylor. He’s seen as a second-round pick.
