Hard to get Bills draft info
Bills GM Buddy Nix is going to smile when he reads what was written in Peter King’s Monday Morning QB Column on SI.com today. In his 10 things he learned about the draft portion of his column, King mentioned the Bills and acquiring draft information from sources close to the team and went Isaac Asimov [...]
PFW mock has QB to Bills
ProFootballWeekly has its latest mock draft out and they’ve got a number one overall pick I have yet to see in any other mock. I guess you can give Nolan Nawrocki credit for being different, but if the Carolina Panthers take A.J. Green first overall as he predicts, it’ll be the first time since the [...]
Quinn, Jordan tie fan vote
Bills fans texted in for who they felt was the best fit for Buffalo at the all important defensive end position after watching the Countdown to Draft Day position preview on Buffalobills.com. And fans didn’t blindly vote for the top prospect instead choosing to be more selective. In a dead heat North Carolina DE Robert [...]

The 49ers, Browns and Eagles have also had Kaepernick work out for them privately and he’s had pre-draft meetings with Denver and Tennessee. Let’s get right to your questions this week from AskChris@bills.nfl.net. 1 – Hey Chris, First off, just want to take a second and compliment you for all the work you do, as it really helps fans stay as up to date as possible with the Bills, even in the offseason. My question is about the [...]
OL Ijalana has pro day
Villanova OT Ben Ijalana held a personal workout for NFL scouts this week due to a sports hernia that kept him from performing at the NFL combine in February. Though the sport hernia still kept him from benching, he did run a pair of 40 times in the mid 5.2s according to NFL.com’s Gil Brandt. [...]
DE Quinn visiting Ravens
North Carolina prized pass rushing prospect Robert Quinn is making another pre-draft visit. According to the National Football Post, Quinn is meeting with the Baltimore Ravens. On Tuesday he was at One Bills Drive visiting with Buffalo’s coaching staff. Quinn is expected to go in the first dozen picks April 28th.
Green and Jones in dead heat
Wide receiver prospects A.J. Green and Julio Jones are largely viewed as the top two pass catching talents in the 2011 NFL draft pool. As far as Bills fans are concerned either one would be a great fit judging by their voting. After reviewing the Countdown to Draft Day, draft preview on wide receivers, Bills [...]
Rudolph 40 times
Notre Dame TE Kyle Rudolph ran in the high 4.7s at his pro day in South Bend today (Thursday). A torn hamstring suffered in the middle of last season kept him from working out at the combine, leaving it all for Rudolph’s pro day. The athletic tight end ran a 4.78 and a 4.8 in [...]
Big day for top TE prospect
One of the last big pro days is taking place today (Thursday) for the top tight end prospect in the draft. Notre Dame’s Kyle Rudolph has his pro day in South Bend, and it’s important after a torn hamstring suffered last season kept him from working out at the NFL combine. Rudolph is widely considered [...]
A very appealing mock
The National Football Post has put together its latest mock draft and if things fall this way I know I’d be pretty pleased. After sending Cam Newton to Carolina with the top pick, they have Denver taking Von Miller second overall. At three they’ve got the Bills taking DL Marcell Dareus with the following reasoning. [...]
LB, LB, TE in Kiper mock
ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper has submitted his three-round mock draft and has the Bills taking a pair of linebackers in the first two rounds, followed by a tight end in round three. In round one with Newton to Carolina and Dareus to Denver, Kiper (like Todd McShay) has Von Miller to Buffalo with the [...]
LB to Bills in McShay mock
ESPN draft analyst Todd McShay has released the fourth version of his mock draft and he goes three rounds deep. He’s got an outside linebacker going to Buffalo third overall followed by a QB in round 2 and a TE in round 3. After he predicts Cam Newton going to Carolina first, and Marcell Dareus [...]
Davis mock has LB to Bills
NFL Network analyst Charles Davis put together his latest mock draft and has a LB going to Buffalo at third overall. With Carolina taking Cam Newton and Denver pulling Marcell Dareus off the board, Davis has the Bills taking OLB Von Miller. “I think they need to get that guy that can rush the passer,” [...]
Bowers getting some votes
In the M&T Bank Draft Day Challenge, in which Bills fans have a chance to predict who the Bills will take with the third overall pick, there has been a measure of support for Bowers. Though Auburn’s Cam Newton is still the most popular choice among Bills fans with 23% of the predictions for draft day, [...]
Bowers stock update
Since Da’Quan Bowers held his pro day there has been a lot of talk with respect to his draft stock, but for a player that most believe is still not 100 percent recovered from knee surgery, is his stock really going to slip much? Granted Bowers, who is visiting with the Bills today (Wednesday) was considered [...]
