Aaron Schobel made a stop at One Bills Drive on Wednesday.
The retired defensive end visited with folks at the team facility after making a doctor visit in town. Schobel looks fit and said he’s tipping the scales at 258 right now. That wasn’t the case late last fall.
“I got up to 296,” he said. “It’s the heaviest I’ve ever been. That was enough.”
Schobel, who admitted that he watched a lot of football this past fall, is enjoying retirement. He’s playing a lot of golf and building a new home for his family down near his native Columbus, Texas.
He also said he likes Marcell Dareus as a player. Schobel believes the Bills had a good draft this spring.
