OL Howard, CB Corner on PUP

Two Bills players will start camp on PUP. Head coach Chan Gailey said Cordaro Howard and Reggie Corner will start camp on PUP. “They are in the process of rehabbing,” said Gailey. ”They are fine, but it is going to take them a little bit longer to get ready for practice.” Gailey did not put a timetable [...]

Torbor will be Poz’s replacement

Reggie Torbor will be the starting ILB taking Poz’s spot next to Andra Davis. Chan Gailey believes with two veterans that know the defense and have plenty of experience inside. “They are both experienced guys who have done it,” said Gailey of Davis and Torbor. ”Those young guys will come in and compete and learn as [...]

Wood to line up at center

It came as little surprise but Chan Gailey confirmed that Eric Wood will line up at center and compete with Geoff Hangartner. Gailey said his job is to put the best players on the field and has some guards that he’s trying to give the opportunity to start. The Bills first practice is Saturday afternoon.

Dareus brings more than talent

Bills top pick Marcell Dareus, who signed his rookie contract Friday to report to camp on time, is going to bring a whole lot more to Buffalo’s defense than just playmaking talent. Don’t sleep on Rogers

Justin Rogers, who signed Thursday night, might be a seventh-round pick, but Bills secondary coach George Catavolos sees something in the talented cornerback. Catavolos told buffalobills.com that Rogers could be a factor as a rookie, which is saying something knowing the steep learning curve that the rookies will have with no spring workouts this offseason. But [...]

Parameters for Dareus

It looks like there are defined parameters for a contract for Bills top pick Marcell Dareus. The draft choices taken before him (Von Miller) and after him (A.J. Green) have both reportedly signed. That should have Dareus pretty firmly slotted between them. Miller is signing a 4-yr $21M deal today (Thursday) according to multiple reports, [...]

Competition for specialists

Last year there was no competition in camp for the likes of veterans Rian Lindell and Brian Moorman or young long snapper Garrison Sanborn. That won’t be the case in this training camp. The Bills have signed an undrafted rookie for each of those positions, LS Danny Aiken, K Chris Hazley and P Reid Forrest. [...]
