Chris Kelsay and Roscoe Parrish did not participate in practice Monday, making it two straight practices for Parrish. Head coach Chan Gailey had an update on both of the vets.
“They both are feeling tight and instead of pushing it right now, since they get a day off tomorrow, it’ll be almost 50 hours before they go again, so we decided to give them the afternoon off and let them rest up so they can get back Wednesday.”
Gailey admitted that the kind of muscular fatigue that’s taken place with some players now a week and a half into camp was somewhat expected in light of the long layoff with no spring workouts.
“Most camps when you get to practice eight and nine that’s where it starts to wear on them a little bit,” said Gailey.
