The cast that Torell Troup has been forced to play with on his right hand might be off in time for the season opener.
That according to Troup himself, who said his hand is feeling much better.
“All the swelling is down,” said Troup who broke a bone in the middle of his hand early in training camp. “The temporary cast I’ve been wearing is too big for my hand now. I’m hoping I get the go ahead to play without it before we head to Kansas City.”
Troup said he’s gotten used to the club he’s had to play with on his right hand, but is eager to be cleared to play without the cast.
“I can’t wait to be able to use both my hands out there knowing how hard I worked on that part of my game this offseason,” Troup said. “I’m looking forward to it.”
