Marcell Dareus, like a lot of other players, has flipped the switch to regular season mode. It’s not that Dareus and his Bills teammates weren’t working hard before, but with a regular season game five days away the Bills top pick is even more focused.
“You kick it into a whole other gear,” he said. “You’ve got to study more, analyze the o-linemen, get ready to go and capitalize on their mistakes and habits.”
Buffalo’s run front looks significantly improved with the additions of Dareus, bigger and stronger second-year linemen Alex Carrington and Torell Troup to team with productive vets like Dwan Edwards and Spencer Johnson and of course Pro Bowl DT Kyle Williams. The veteran core of LBs behind them doesn’t look too shabby either with Kelsay, Davis, Barnett and Merriman across the front.
