Bills OLB Chris Kelsay is laid up with a calf injury right now and is not expected to play this Sunday against the Giants, but known as a fast healer he’s got a return date in mind.
“I feel good,” said Kelsay. “It’s coming along. It’s just one of those things that’s going to take a little bit of time, but considering how it felt initially when I did it so I feel a lot better.”
Kelsay “popped” his calf muscle in practice last Thursday and will not be ready for this week’s game. He would not put a timetable on his injury, but sounds as if he’ shooting to make a return to the field after the bye week, which follows this week’s Giants game.
“It’ll save me a game for sure,” said Kelsay of the bye week. “I’m a fast healer. I think it’s just person to person and injury to injury, but I’m hopeful because I’ve always healed pretty fast. So hopefully I can get back quick.”
