Barnett thankful for bye

Bills ILB Nick Barnett has been fighting through an ankle injury the past few weeks, so he’s grateful that the team has a bye this week to give his ankle time to heal up.

“It definitely needs a week (to rest) right now,” Barnett said of his ankle. ”I’m going into two weeks of this ankle injury, so being able to go into this bye week and rest it up and getting the treatment that I need going into Washington. If it feels five-percent better than it felt… I’m excited about that. It is a much needed bye week to heal up.”
