Many of Kent Hull’s former teammates in their remembrances of him have attested to his character as a person as much as his abilities as a player. Here is a testament to that when he visited sick children in a hospital in his native Mississippi. If you want to know more about Kent Hull the man, this provides a good glimpse of the gregarious and respectful Southerner.
