— The Buffalo Bills take on the Washington Redskins at 4:05 p.m. on October 30, 2011, but the party starts well before that with the Budweiser Tailgate, featuring a special performance by Juno award-winning Canadian rockers Finger Eleven. The Budweiser Tailgate begins at 11 a.m. and runs until 3:30 p.m. on game day and provides an experience that stretches from east to west, north to south in the area surrounding Rogers Centre. The Budweiser Big Rig will be on site along with the Bud Girls, great music, tailgate-style food, prizes, giveaways and interactive elements including the Bills Toronto Series mechanical buffalo. Special appearances by the Buffalo Jills, Bills Alumni and Billy Buffalo will also help bring the spirit of a Bills tailgate to Rogers Centre.

QUOTES FROM MEDIA DAY
Head Coach Chan Gailey
On the Toronto home game this week:
Again, I’ll what I said last year; it’s our responsibility to be good enough to make it an advantage at some point in time. We continue to play well and get to be a team that everybody gets excited about in the whole region then I think it’s got a chance to be an advantage, and maybe it will be. I don’t know.
On LB Shawne Merriman being placed on IR:
He had not been playing up to what any of us thought, him included. We all felt it was in the best interest to let him try to get this thing completely well and we’ll just plug in some other guys and see if they can go do it. I don’t know how it’ll work. We’ve got to wait and see.
QB Ryan Fitzpatrick
On wanting this team to form a strong core:
I’d like to remain here. I’ve said multiple times I really enjoy the guys I’m playing with. We’ll see how it shakes out. I think we’ve got a good group of guys here. A good, young talented group of guys that like playing together.
On how they can win the crowd over in Toronto:
You make plays. The same way last year when we started off like we did, we didn’t give fans anything to cheer about and this year I feel like, especially when we’ve played at home, we’ve given them stuff to cheer about. To do that, to go out, to get them excited right away, to makes the plays, to get the ball in the end zone. Giving them something to cheer about is how you get them in to it.
RB Fred Jackson
On regaining the momentum after the bye week:
Just coming back to work this will be a good test for us up in Toronto. They’re a good team and we’re definitely facing a good defense. If we go out and get a good win this weekend it’ll get us right back on the right track.
On continuing to gain respect:
It will be a good test for us. We know they’re a great team and they’ll come in ready to play. I think they’ll have a good crowd up there, too. It’ll be a good test for us. We’re looking forward to the challenge and another game at a time. We take it one game at a time and this is the game we have to play.
S George Wilson
On making big plays to get the crowd on the Bills side
Like I said regardless, whoever makes the big plays they’re going to cheer and that’s why I call it more of a show more than anything. They’re just excited to see the game being played there in their city in their local stadium, but by all means we have to make sure we are the ones making the big plays so we can say that they are cheering for us.
