According to one report Jets underrated DT Mike DeVito could be back in New York’s defensive lineup on Sunday.
RichCimini Rex Ryan said he’s “very optimistic” that DT Mike DeVito (knee) will play vs. Buffalo. Will need him against Fred Jackson.
DeVito suffered a sprained MCL when he got rolled up in practice two weeks ago and missed New York’s win over San Diego prior to their bye week. Despite Ryan’s optimism DeVito did not practice with his teammates on Monday. Instead he worked on the side with trainers as did fellow DT Kenrick Ellis
, who suffered an ankle injury in the game two weeks ago per the Newark Star-Ledger.
