Bills QB Ryan Fitzpatrick was limited in practice on Thursday.
Head coach Chan Gailey actually corrected an error he had made on Wednesday when he had Fitzpatrick listed as a full participant.
“I screwed that up,” said Gailey. “I made that mistake. I assumed he knew and I didn’t tell him that he had not taken all the reps (Wednesday). Fitz was limited again today. We’re just bringing him along slowly.”
When asked if there’s any doubt that Fitzpatrick would be able to play Gailey said there wasn’t.
“Not in my mind, his mind or the trianer’s mind,” he said. “Those are the three most important minds at work.”
After Thursday’s practice Fitzpatrick, who didn’t take all the reps, assured that he would be starting Sunday.
“I’ll be out there against the Jets for sure,” he said.
