Bills OLB Chris Kelsay, who missed a pair of games due to a calf injury, could miss a second pair after the injury flared up again late last week.
Kelsay appeared recovered from the injury after missing games in Week 5 and Week 6 against the Eagles and Giants. But the injury cropped up in practice last Thursday and forced him to miss Sunday’s game against the Jets. Head coach Chan Gailey isn’t confident that Kelsay will be back in time to face the Cowboys on Sunday.
“Kelsay looks like he could possibly miss this game as well,” said Gailey late Monday afternoon. “He re-aggravated that same calf injury and they said he should come back a lot faster than the last time. So it looks like we may or may not have him. I would doubt it this week, probably have him for the next one.”
It’s not surprising that the Bills would prefer to have Kelsay back healthy for a pair of division games at Miami and at New York, as those follow the Dallas game.
