THIS DAY IN BILLS HISTORY
November 8, 1987 TOM SESTAK PLACED ON WALL OF FAME
DT Tom Sestak was inducted on the Bills “Wall of Fame.” The Bills upset the defending AFC Champion Denver Broncos, 21-14. Buffalo blocked two punts resulting in two safeties.
QUOTE OF THE DAY
Head Coach Chan Gailey
On what was it about the offense not executing as it has in games past:
They did put some people in some different spots but it was not something that was drastically different. It was a little different. We have to be able to handle those things. Good teams handle those. I think the fact that they did put some guys, the people in the same spots but it was different kinds of people. They had a DB in the spot where a LB normally plays and you’ve got to count it the same. And I did a bad job of preparing the guys to understand that and make sure we execute properly.
