Buffalo’s defense the past two weeks has surrendered a completion percentage of almost 80 percent (79.6%) as Mark Sanchez and Tony Romo combined to go 43-54 passing. On the season the Bills are giving up a completion percentage of 65.7%. Chan Gailey offered his solutions for getting that figure down closer to the league average.
“You have to do a couple of things,” he said. “One, we have to get more pressure which is obvious that anybody that watches us play. We have to get more pressure on the passer and we have to disrupt the routes a little better. If we could throw off the timing of those a little bit it would help us a lot.”
