Troup hoping to get answers
Posted by on November 29, 2011 – 1:10 pmBills DT Torell Troup, who has been dealing with lingering back problems since the last preseason game is hoping he can get some definitive answers when he meets with doctors this week.
“I just hope I can get an idea as to just what I need to do going forward,” Troup told Buffalobills.com. “I’ve been dealing with this since the summer and my plan was to fight my way through it to the end of the season. We’ll see.”
Troup admitted that surgery is a possibility to correct the lower back issue that has compromised his level of play all season.
“They’re telling me if it does come to that, that it would be a situation where I could be out of the hospital three days after surgery so that’s encouraging if I have to go that route.”
Head coach Chan Gailey said Monday that injured reserve is a consideration for Troup with five games left in the season.
