Chan to Stevie: Got to be smarter
Bills head coach Chan Gailey and Stevie Johnson discussed the events that came out of Johnson’s touchdown celebration Sunday and they both feel they’re on the same page moving forward. “I think it was wrong and I told him so and what I hate is that game is remembered for his one action rather than [...]
Injury updates
Here’s the latest on Buffalo’s injury list with a couple of players likely to get back in fray at practice this week. George Wilson, who has missed each of the last two games with a neck stinger, is hoping to get back on the practice field late in the week. “I don’t think he’ll make [...]
Troup’s season in jeopardy
Bills DT Torell Troup has had lingering back problems that only worsened before Sunday’s game. “Torell’s back acted up Saturday night and then it really locked up Sunday morning,” said head coach Chan Gailey in response to why the nose tackle was inactive. ”They did more tests today and it’s not good and we’re going to [...]
Stevie apologized to Plax
Stevie Johnson didn’t talk directly to Plaxico Burress, but he got in contact with him and apologized for his touchdown celebration in which he mocked shooting himself in the leg just like Burress did at a nightclub that landed him in federal prison for two years. “I just sent him a text message and he [...]
Stevie says no more celebrations
In the wake of what proved to be a costly penalty Sunday in a loss to the Jets, Bills WR Stevie Johnson said he won’t be doing anymore touchdown celebrations. “Probably not,” said Johnson when asked if he’d celebrate anymore. When asked if Sunday was his last TD celebration Johnson said, “Yeah.”
Bills unlikely to sell out Sunday
The Bills are unlikely to sell out their upcoming home game against the Titans this week in time to lift a local blackout. The team has 12,200 tickets remaining for the game and would need to sell them all prior to 1 pm on Thursday to lift the blackout. For those that want to see [...]

Tasker has King’s HOF support
Bills Wall of Famer Steve Tasker made the list of Pro Football HOF semifinalists for the 2012 induction class along with fellow Wall of Famer Andre Reed. SI.com’s Peter King supports Tasker’s candidacy, but just isn’t sure he’ll make the list of 15 finalists. Here’s what King wrote about Tasker’s candidacy in his Monday Morning [...]

Stevie talks to Plax

CB Williams hard on himself
It was just his second career start, so there’s an awful lot for Aaron Williams to learn in the NFL. But that wasn’t going to be used as an excuse by the rookie cornerback, who was one of the last players to leave Buffalo’s locker room at MetLife Stadium after Buffalo loss to the Jets. [...]
McKelvin update
Leodis McKelvin was the latest Bills player to sustain an injury. L.T. not expected to play
Jets RB LaDainian Tomlinson is listed as questionable, but it would be very surprising if he was active today against the Bills. Tomlinson has been dealing with a sprained MCL and missed last week’s game against Denver. Most Jets observers believe the team does not want to rush L.T. back this week, especially since he [...]
RB Choice could see time today
Tashard Choice may have only practiced twice since being signed by the Bills on Wednesday, but his retention of Buffalo’s offensive system will give him a very good chance of getting on the field today against the Jets. “He retained a lot,” said head coach Chan Gailey. Gailey, who coached Choice for his last three [...]
Chan: we need smarter play
The Bills three-game losing streak has been less about effort and more about consistency in the eyes of Chan Gailey. That’s why he believes smarter play coupled with effort will get them back to a level of play that was getting Buffalo wins earlier this season. “I believe we have guys that understand about fighting [...]
