Rayner to be fine to kick

Bills kicker Dave Rayner missed practice Wednesday and was limited on Thursday, but head coach Chan Gailey is confident he’ll be good to go come Sunday against the Dolphins.

“We had Rayner limited today,” said Gailey after Thursday’s practice. ”But I think he’s going to be just fine. He kicked on the side.”

Rayner said he felt pain in the middle of his pelvis during the second half of the San Diego game, but isn’t sure how it came about.

“I had to get a steroid injection to take care of the inflammation that somehow built up in there,” he said. “I’ll be fine. I’m just a little sore now from the giant needle they stuck in there.”
