Yes on WR, yes to CB, no to TE
Posted by on April 24, 2012 – 11:46 amBills GM Buddy Nix, appearing on a live pre-draft chat on Buffalobills.com Tuesday was asked about some positions he figures to address in the draft. Here were his responses.
The first positional question posed to Nix in the chat was about the health of receivers Donald Jones and Marcus Easley and whether they would add to the receiving corps in the draft.
“They’re healthy,” said Nix. ”But we’ll try to add another wide receiver maybe two.”
Finally, when asked if they’re likely to draft a tight end in this year’s draft, Nix sounded as though he’s ruling that position out.
“No, probably not,” he said.
Only 14 tight end prospects were invited to the NFL Combine this year serving as strong indication that the class is weak this year.
